Where we conduct research studies

The clinical studies in liver disease at Saint Louis University are conducted at the Salus Center on the medical center campus. For the convenience of participants in the NASH Clinical Research Network studies, Dr. Tetri also sees patients in Liver Clinic at the Salus Center.

Who we are

The hepatologists (liver specialists) at Saint Louis School of Medicine are internationally recognized for their expertise in all aspects of acute and chronic liver disease. Through their ongoing clinical studies, they are constantly developing new information on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases such as nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), chronic hepatitis C, chronic hepatitis B, primary biliary cirrhosis and autoimmune hepatitis. Dr. Tetri is conducting studies as part of the national multicenter NASH Clinical Research Network to better understand NASH and its treatments.
