Where we conduct research studies

The clinical studies in liver disease at Saint Louis University are conducted at the Salus Center on the medical center campus. For the convenience of participants in the NASH Clinical Research Network studies, Dr. Tetri also sees patients in Liver Clinic at the Salus Center.

 

Getting to the Salus Center

Driving directions to the Salus Center (parking is free):

 


I-64/Hwy 40 from the west:
- Take the Grand Blvd Exit, turn left (south) onto Grand Blvd at the first traffic light
- Drive 1 mile south on Grand,
- Turn left onto Lafayette Ave (just before crossing I-44)
- Immediately turn left into Salus Center

 

I-44 from the west:
- Take the Grand Blvd Exit, turn left onto Grand Blvd at the first traffic light
- Immediately merge into the right lane
- Turn right onto Lafayette Ave
- Immediately turn left into Salus Center

 

I-55 from the north or south:
- Take the exit for I-44 westbound (towards Tulsa)
- Take the Lafayette/Grand Ave exit
- Turn left on Lafayette at the stop sign just after exiting
- Turn right into Salus Center before reaching the Grand Ave traffic light

 

After you turn into the Salus Center entrance:
- Pass through the automatic gate on the right and enter the complimentary guest lot
- Enter the main entrance to the building, tell the kind people at the information desk that you are coming to the Nash Studies Unit on the second floor.
